Our staff is a wonderfully diverse group of people from different walks of life, living with HIV, affected by HIV, or identifying with certain key populations. They come from all over the world, each bringing their life experiences, skills, and expertise to the team. One purpose unites them – they are all committed to keeping people living with HIV at the center of the response.

Executive Leadership
Sbongile Nkosi is the Co-Executive Director at GNP+. She is a Black feminist with over ten years of experience in journalism, public policy, advocacy campaigning, and movement building. Sbongile has held journalism and management positions with reputable South African organisations such as Health-e-News, the Treatment Action Campaign, and Mail & Guardian. She has consulted for media development agencies and global health organisations, including the Global Fund. She possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience on the intersectionality of gender, health, and race. She holds a Master’s in Globalisation, Business, and Development from the Institute of Development Studies at Sussex University.
Florence Riako Anam is a global advocacy thought leader in the HIV response and movement. It matters to her that global policy and research decisions translate into action that directly impacts people living with and affected by HIV to enjoy the quality of life. Florence is the Co-Executive Director at the Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+). Florence has also previously worked at Médecins Sans Frontières and the International Community of Women Living with HIV. She holds a Master of Arts in Communications degree from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Maseno University.GNP+ works with a number of staff and consultants who are appointed from time to time to support and contribute to the organisation’s goal and Strategy. Our team brings a diverse range of expertise and experience to the table, helping GNP+ effectively address the needs of people living with HIV worldwide.
