The Global Network of People living with HIV alongside national PLHIV networks have written to the UNAIDS Board ahead of its special session on 26 October 2026. We welcome the finding that now is not the time to sunset UNAIDS and ask for a country-owned, community-driven joint programme focused on closing the HIV cascade gaps for adults and children.
