This World AIDS Day 2025, we are proud to launch the inaugural GNP+ World AIDS Day Report, a reflection of 40 million PLHIV voices across the world, sharing their experience to shape the most significant health policy shift of our time.
This report, PLHIV Minimum Requirements for Integrated HIV Services, built on the mandate of the Nairobi PLHIV Leadership Summit in April, is a first in our effort to build an annual tradition of defining and tracking the non-negotiable standards for integrating HIV services into primary health care without leaving anyone behind.
GNP+ Co- Eds Ms. Florence Riako Anam and Ms. Sbongile NkosiThe response has been resounding. 1,834 of you lent us your voices when you answered the survey and shared rich personal experiences. National PLHIV Networks added their expertise and perspectives, a couple of Partners shared their expertise. We listened, we worked, and today we deliver.
The result? Seven clear, evidence-based requirements that must shape every integration plan: transformative PLHIV participation, local context definition, recognition of our diversity, comprehensive care including self-care, resilient systems, stigma-free services, and full government responsibility for treatment.
This report is our shared roadmap to a sustainable HIV response that protects lives, sustains viral suppression, and finally delivers Zero AIDS related deaths, Zero new infections, and Zero stigma.
We offer this report as a hand extended in partnership to governments, health providers, donors, and allies so that together, we build services that are truly person-centred, equitable, and resilient. Because when integration is done with us, it works for us. And when it works for us, U=U becomes reality for every single person living with HIV.
